Trick or Treat

our village celebrated trick or treat a week before the real Halloween. i took this picture of other kids who were enjoying the celebration. my 2 daughters were at YFC-RYC (youth for christ regional youth conference) in batangas city and my son was busy with other stuff.

i remembered my son when he was three he won the best in costume award. i wrapped him with tons of bandage cloth so he would look like a real mummy. me and my two daughters would always wear witches costume and my hubby a hunchback :)

this year though we didn't celebrate halloween..

I miss Japan!

i lived in Japan for less than a year to study Environmental Management. this was years ago... i miss my 3 bff's who helped me ease missing my kids and hubby back home. we are of different nationality. Saori (brazilian-japanese), Nor (malaysian) and Yui (thai).

its been a while

Mandarin Vegetable Salad

I have had enough of cholesterol the whole day of May 22, 2010 (Sat). I ate only leaves and fruits the following day (pineapple and guyabano which my hubby bought in Tagaytay on our way home from Canyon Cove). Had this yummy Mandarin Vegetable Salad from Shakey's for dinner.

Kainan sa Dalampasigan

We had our lunch at the nearest restaurant called Kainan sa Dalampasigan from Canyon Cove. My eldest daughter called it feast because they had enough of what they requested. They wanted ihaw-ihaw thingy for lunch that day and this resto is a word of mouth. Its cheap, flavorful and cozy. This is only 10 mins ride from CC. The ambiance is mini jungle-like.

Canyon Cove

After long hours of work weekdays and weekends, i finally gave myself and my family a break. Canyon Cove Beach Resort - I came here first time last April 2010 in our Corporate outing. Had a grand time with my officemates here. I promised myself i'm gonna bring my family here. Finally, last May 22 (Sat) I took vacation leave from work. For the second time, I enjoyed CC with my family. The kids had fun and were toasted under the sun haha. Twas a fantastic weekend @ Canyon Cove Beach Resort - perfect place for a getaway.

there's this alive statue @ festival mall wherein it moves only when you drop 20 bucks in a box in front of him. my kids enjoyed it as well as myself.

Mother's Day

the day went like this:

mass . home . festi mall (D-link supplier, sbarro italian pizza, robinsons grocery, handy man) . home for a surprise cake from the kids . BB-ing. zzzzz

Unlike when my kids were still small, they would fill the house with banners, posters and cards. Today they greeted me thru twitter and facebook..they knew i am online now with my new BB 9700.
